William Paterson University and Theatreworks USA Presents Seussical on April 22 Theatreworks USA will take the stage at William Paterson University in Wayne to perform the musical Seussical on Friday, April 22, 2016. The performance will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts as part of its WP Presents! series. This 60-minute sensory-friendly performance is open to children on the autism spectrum. Seussical is a musical theatre work by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty based on the books of Dr. Seuss that debuted on Broadway in 2000. The musical travels through the lives of Dr. Seuss characters, with The Cat in the Hat acting as the host in this romp through the classics. Horton, Who and Miss Gertude McFuzz are among the recognizable characters who find themselves intertwined in a crazy-quilt adventure and must save the day using the power of imagination.
