The Tryon Trio to Perform Brahms Horn Trio at William Paterson University on April 19

The Tyron Trio will perform on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at William Paterson University. The performance will take place at 2 p.m. at the University’s Hobart Manor as part of the Musical Salon Series.

Tickets are available at the Shea Center Box Office in advance at 973.720.2371 or wp-presents.org. Admission is $15; $12 for faculty, staff, alumni and senior citizens; and $8 for non-William Paterson students. William Paterson students are admitted free with valid I.D.

This lyrical chamber group will perform the Brahms Horn Trio, among other compositions, in a spring chamber concert to welcome the season. The Trio includes Katsumi Ferguson on violin, Jessica Santiago on French horn, and Vlada Yaneva on piano.

Ferguson, a native of Japan, began her violin studies at age two. She has performed with many orchestral and chamber ensembles, and performs at Tanri Cultural Institute of New York. Santiago, originally of Long Island, has established herself as a versatile soloist, orchestral and chamber artist. Santiago’s recent performances include the Astoria Symphony and a production of “The Secret Garden” in Connecticut. Yaneva began her piano studies at age six at the National School of Music in her native Bulgaria. She has won many prizes in numerous piano competitions.
