“Piano Men: The Music of Elton and Billy” will Join the William Paterson University Symphony for a Tribute Concert October 3

“Piano Men: The Music of Elton and Billy” will be featured with the William Paterson University Symphony for a performance of Elton John’s and Billy Joel’s music at 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The performance will take place at the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus as part of the “WP Presents!” series.

Tickets are available at the Shea Center box office in advance at 973.720. 2371, or at wp-presents.org. Tickets are $29 for front orchestra, $25 for rear orchestra/front loge, $20 for rear loge and $10 for William Paterson students.  

“Piano Men” is a tribute concert that will feature many hits by piano legends Billy Joel and Elton John: “Tiny Dancer,” “Don’t Go Breaking my Heart,” “New York State of Mind” and “Piano Men,” among others.  It includes a four-piece pop group with Joe Boucher on piano and vocals. Also, the WP University Symphony, conducted by Sandra Dackow, adjunct music professor, will join the group for this performance.
