President Waldron to Speak on Presidential Panel at HERS Summer Institute President Kathleen Waldron President Kathleen Waldron will join other women college presidents for a panel discussion as part of the Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Summer Institute at Bryn Mawr College on July 22. The panel is a culminating event of the two-week institute, an intensive leadership development program designed to help advance women to senior leadership positions in higher education throughout the ranks of faculty and staff. President Waldron is a frequent speaker at meetings devoted to women’s leadership, including the American Council of Education’s Women’s Network as well as various corporate forums. She recently joined a group of 100 women leaders who signed on to Moving the Needle: Advancing Women Leaders in Higher Education, a call to action campaign by the American Council on Education to work toward ensuring that 50 percent of the chief executives of United States higher education institutions will be women by 2030. HERS is dedicated to creating and sustaining a community of women leaders through leadership development programs and other strategies with a special focus on gender equity within the broader commitment to achieving equality and excellence in higher education. 07/14/16 07/13/16
