William Paterson University to Host Job Fair on Friday, August 22

William Paterson University’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education, the Passaic County One-Stop Career Center and additional partners are hosting a Job Fair on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the University’s 1600 Valley Road building in Wayne. Admission is free.

More than 25 companies from various industries have confirmed their attendance; a list can be viewed at http://www.wpunj.edu/cpe/grants/job-fair.html.

In addition, attendees can participate in four free workshops: “Using Social Media in Your Job Search,” “Resume Writing and Resume Critiquing,” “How to Apply for Government Jobs,” and “Presentation Skills for the Job Market.” A workshop on free training grants for vendors will be held from 8 to 11 a.m.

Partners for this event include:  William Paterson University Center for Continuing and Professional Education, Passaic County Workforce Development Center, William Paterson University Small Business Development Center, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Workforce Development Board of Passaic County, Passaic County Community College, Passaic County Department of Human Resources, Passaic County Department of Planning and Economic Development and New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
