Theatreworks USA will present “Skippyjon Jones” at William Paterson University on April 17

--Special performance for children with autism

Theater for Children with Autism will present Theatreworks USA’s musical “Skippyjon Jones” at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 at William Paterson University in Wayne. This performance will take place at the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

This performance is only open to classes and families with children with autism. Please call the University Performing Arts office at 973.720.2371or email gassyoumans1@wpunj.edu for ticket reservations and information. General admission tickets are $8.

“Skippyjon Jones” is a musical based on the book by Judy Schachner and features music and lyrics by Kevin Del Aguila.  This musical is about unleashing one’s powerful imagination and following your dreams. Skippyjon Jonesis a tiny kitten with large ears and even bigger dreams, who pretends to be anything but a Siamese cat. This production is adapted specifically and exclusively for children on the autism spectrum.
