The Doo Wop Project Will Perform Classic Oldies at William Paterson University On April 16

The Doo Wop Project, featuring Broadway stars of Jersey Boys and Motown the Musical will perform on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at William Paterson University in Wayne. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. at the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus as part of the WP Presents! series.

Tickets are available at the Shea Center Box office in advance at 973.720.2371 or wp-presents.org.  Tickets are $30 for orchestra seating and $25 for loge.

The Doo wop Project traces the music of groups like The Crests, The Belmonts, and the Flamingos through their influences on the sounds of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, and the Four Seasons, all the way to Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, and Amy Winehouse. The performers will share personal stories and experiences in the music business, and how it led them to form the group.
