NAKATA'S STORY

The second part of the novel shifts its focus to Nakata, an elderly man who, as a result of a childhood incident, lost the ability to read or write but gained the ability to converse with cats. Nakata's path leads him on a mystical quest to find a lost cat, which connects him to an otherworldly realm and a peculiar stone. As Nakata's story unfolds, readers are drawn into a surreal and dreamlike narrative that explores themes of interconnectedness, the boundaries of reality, and the profound nature of existence.
