Have 5 years professional work experience and a bachelor’s degree. Be a William Paterson graduate or community mentor interested in guiding a student. Possess a strong interest in helping a William Paterson University student with career decision making and professional development. Complete an online application, participate in a brief phone interview, provide resume or LinkedIn profile, view online mentor orientation and be willing to undergo a background check prior to being matched with a student. Commit to serve as a mentor for a minimum of one academic year (two semesters). Commit to meeting with your mentee at least once per month. This can be in-person, virtually, email, or phone.
