The exhibition has been one of the most important activities of the Center for Chinese Art. More than 29 exhibitions have been arranged and organized to provide opportunities for the faculty and students to learn about Chinese art and culture, showcasing the high-quality and unique production of internationally renowned artists. The exhibitions, curated by the Center, are displayed in the Ben Shahn Center for the Visual Arts, Power Art Center galleries of William Paterson University, New York Gallery of Chinese Art, and then at other universities in America and China. At the meantime, an exhibition catalog, along with an introduction to the exhibition themes and interpretive essays on the history and art as well as the culture of the relevant period or region, is published in both English and Chinese. Conferences, lectures, and demonstrations are also presented in addition to the receptions hosted during the exhibitions.
