Sunday Tea at Hobart Manor In 2009 the Hobart Manor Revitalization Committee kicked off their annual signature event, the Sunday Tea at Hobart Manor, to bring alumni and community friends onto William Paterson University’s beautiful campus, to experience the breathtaking showpiece that is Hobart Manor, and to learn more about the history of Passaic County. The Annual event takes place annually on the first Sunday in June and includes a guest lecturer addressing topics relevant to Passaic County and its inhabitants, followed by the Tea in Hobart Manor. Lectures are in partnership with the County of Passaic. Most specifically, the program will uncover and discuss the Lenni Lenape who inhabited what is now New Jersey and parts of New York, and their role in shaping Passaic County’s landscape.
