WP Digital Resource Access Program

Spring 2024

William Paterson University is committed to lowering cost of higher education for our students and have partnered with Follett Higher Education Group in this initiative.  Last Spring we launched the WP ACCESS program at William Paterson University.  The program has been well received with 86% participation.  The program is being expanded for the Spring 2024 semester with new courses added.  The initiative is designed to help you save money on the course materials required for the class.  To illustrate the cost savings, please see course and savings chart below for all the courses that have been selected as part of the Spring 2024 semester pilot program.

What is WP Digital Resource Access Program?

This new program promises to deliver digital course material to students at a lower cost when compared to the physical textbooks and help reduce the overall expenses for students.  Participating in the program will allow students to pay a discounted e-book rate, and the materials will be available to them on the first day of class.

 How does it work?

At the time of registration, next to the course listing you will see Digital Resources Fee noted in the attribute column.  Once you register for the course, you are automatically opted in and on your dashboard, you will see a notification as in the example below.

The chart below lists all courses currently in the Access program.  One week before the start of the semester, you will receive an email notification from noreply@follett.com describing how to access the digital course materials.  You do not have to purchase your course materials separately for this course at the WP Campus Store. The cost for all the course material will be billed to your student account and will appear on your e-statement from the Office of Student.  Please send your questions and inquiries to TextbookAccess@wpunj.edu.
