High Mountain East houses our freshmen Honors Program students first and other new freshmen as spaces are available. Earliest submissions of the housing contract/deposit will be offered rooms in this community. Our rooms are semi-suite style, air conditioned and are centered around common area lounges. The rooms and lounges are equipped for wireless access, and the building houses two smart classrooms which are used as part of the living/learning experience. High Mountain West is an upper class facility for students, sophomore through senior. All rooms are semi-suite style, air conditioned and are centered around common area lounges. Rooms and lounges have wireless access to the Internet. There is no special requirement to live in High Mountain West. However, our continuing students have the opportunity to participate in a spring lottery for this community as part of the Room Selection process. Being a popular residential community, assignments fill quickly. The buildings are smoke free. No smoking is permitted in suites, hallways, and common areas, and there are smoke detectors and fire prevention sprinklers in every room. Free laundry machines are available to students in each community and vending machines can also be found in the common area on the first floor of each building.
