Student Government Association

The Voice of the Pioneers since 1925

The purpose of the Student Government Association is to identify, understand, promote the interest and welfare of the student body by providing a means through which members may express themselves effectively in matters which affect the students as members of the William Paterson University community, to mentor all student clubs and organizations and committees chartered through the Association, and to provide an academic, cultural, educational, social, and physical activities for the student body as well as the rest of the University community, in cooperation with the University administration through the management of the student activities fee. As stated in the Student Government Association Constitution, every student of William Paterson University who has paid the student activity fee shall be a member of the Student Government Association.

The members of the Student Government Association Senate and Executive Board work tirelessly day by day to serve as a voice for William Paterson students. We bring voiced issues to members of the university administration and work collectively to find a solution. We welcome you to our senate meetings held on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 PM in room UC 171 A/B. Please join us and be part of the conversation!

Yours sincerely,

The Student Government Association of William Paterson University
