The Minor in Forensic Studies is about the application of scientific techniques to law. Specifically, this Minor combines the methods of multiple disciplines (biology, anthropology, psychology, law, and criminal justice) to teach students how to utilize scientific methods in a criminal investigation. This course of study is designed for both non-science and science majors. Students will learn how crime scene units collect data and then aid the prosecution through court testimony. Students will learn what forensic scientists actually do, and in the process, separate fact from popular myth. For more information, please contact Dr. Ryan J.
