Minor in Legal Studies

The Minor in Legal Studies provides students with an abbreviated course of study within the Legal Studies Program. It enables students to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of the study of law, while at the same time improving their analytical abilities. It offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of courses covering the American Judicial System, Constitutional Law, Civil Liberties, Criminal Law, and a variety of related liberal arts fields that build critical skills that can be applied to the study of law.

If you would like to explore these topics in more depth than just the minor, you might consider adding Legal Studies as a second major. This requires 36 credits, or 18 credits beyond the minor.
