NOTE:    • At WPU, CLEP credits are treated as Transfer credits. WPU residency requirement is 30 overall credits with 50% of the major completed at WP..

             • A student must earn a score of 50 or better on all exams unless otherwise noted.

American Literature Credit not acceptable for William Paterson University students.
Analysis & Interpretation of Literature Credit not acceptable for William Paterson University students.
English Literature Credit not acceptable for William Paterson University students.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE
French Language (Levels 1 and 2) 6 credits 6 credits as free electives; score 50 or above & complete FR2100 for WPU graduation requirements.
French Language (Levels 1 and 2) 9 credits 9 credits as free electives; score 59 or above for WPU graduation requirements.
German Language (Levels 1 and 2) 6 credits 6 credits as free electives; score 50 or above; complete GER2100 for WPU graduation requirements.
German Language (Levels 1 and 2) 9 credits 9 credits as free electives; score 59 or above for WPU graduation requirements.
Spanish Language (Levels 1 and 2) 6 credits 6 credits as free electives; score 50 or above & complete SPAN2100 for WPU graduation requirements.
