Setting Wireless System Frequency to an available channel

It is possible that in the field there may be other devices transmitting on the same frequency that this microphone system is using, which will interfere with your audio signal. To find an available frequency, follow the steps below.

  1. If you are using this system in addition to a wireless mic system that comes with one of our camera kits, make sure you turn on either the bodypack or the plugin transmitter that comes with the camera kit This will ensure that this additional wireless system does not transmit on the same frequency as the camera wireless mic system.
  2. Put batteries in the receiver and bodypack (or plugin) and turn both of them on.
  3. On the receiver, press the minus sign until you see the Auto Set menu
  4. Press and hold the Set button till it asks, "Yes."
  5. Press Set again to agree, and it will scan for available frequencies
  6. Have both receiver and bodypack facing together until the bodypack shows SYNC?
  7. Select YES and then press the Set button
  8. Both receiver and bodypack are synced up on an open frequency.
